Quality control is our natural way of manufacturing and we give high emphasis to it. Our quality control team is an independent department that comprises some of the R&D members and mostly external members from agricultural universities.
The QC procedure is strictly followed at each and every stage of the manufacturing as below
Reception of seeds: the seeds are separated into lots based on the supplier, place and period of collection. This allows us to find the traceability of the final product.
Storage: Seeds samples are regularly derived to test its quality, oil content and especially azadirachtin content.
Extraction of oil: Oil is extracted in batches. Representative samples of every batch undergo a range of chemical analysis to verify the Azadirachtin content (in case of its utilisation as a biological pesticide) and Aflatoxin content in case of cosmetic or medicinal utilisation. We have HPLC facilities to analyse the various contents of the oil
Formulation: Formulated oil (ex: water-soluble formulation for sprays) are batched and stored for future analysis.
